After coming out from the depression, she came in contact with actor Pran’s son, Sunil Sikand and stayed in live-in-relation. Due to hot temper of Sunil, this romance did not last long. Later she had a relationship with Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu but this created havoc in Kumar Sanu’s marital life and Kunika had to exit. After failure in romance Kunika concentrated at work but became a victim of Paranoid schizophrenia, hence her parents insisted her to settle down, Hence on parents insistence she married Vinay Lal. But yet again the marriage was a failure. But this time Kunika, acted wisely. After giving birth to a child, she took her 40 days old son, and moved out from her husband’s house.
