Luv Ni Love Storys is a great start for 2020 with notable performances by Luv (Pratik Gandhi), and all the other cast. This is a flawless combination of romance and comedy. Pratik is no-nonsense and natural on screen. The cute bonding of mother son duo is amazing. Deeksha’s entry takes the movie a bar higher.
With Deeksha coming in the scene, the second half becomes more interesting. She is as natural as Luv as Preeti. She nails the complex character very convincingly and charmingly. Vyoma Nandi is simply cute and effortless. She lights the screens up. Pratik is throughout outstanding. The story hoplds you till the end. Hardik Sangani is just too good. His one liners and comic sense deserves hats off!
Pratik Gandhi plays a Gujarati avatar of Ranbir Kapoor from Bachna ae Haseeno and takes off where Shahrukh Khan left off in DDLJ. If the wild, unpredictable, rakish playboy of DDLJ was tamed in just a few reels, here it takes a lot of reel time before our new millennial Romeo learns the meaning of commitment and ever after.
The movie is awesomely scripted and directed by Durgesh Tanna. The makers have kept the details in mind. Music is the best-est part of the movie, thanks to Parth Thakkar. The “love” and the music win the hearts. It’s an amusing film. It’s a clean love story cum family drama. You can go with your family with no worries of coming up to catch any non-sense scene or dialogue.
On the whole, Luv Ni Love Storys has an interesting second half. At the box-office, thanks to the hype built around the film and the amazing cast, the opening weekend should be great. Multiplexes at some big centers would be full. We rate it 4 hearts out of 5
