Bharti lives a comfortable and wealthy lifestyle with her father Ashok and mother. She is a brilliant law student and falls in love with a fellow collegian named Vijay. A student named Vicky who is also smitten by Bharti tells her that her father is big time into smuggling and a human trafficking business. Shocked and ashamed she confront her dad who denies all the accusations. Satisfied at the reply Bharti goes to Goa with her friends, where she is horrified to see her father putting some kidnapped children aboard a yacht. This leads to a confrontation between her parents and her and sadly leads to the demise of her mother. Bharti then shoots her dad and flees. His associatesfind her and are trying to prove that she is mentally unstable.
The film is directed by S A Chandrashekhar and produced by suresh Bhagat. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Rishi Kapoor,Jackie Shroff,Rekha, Pran, Prem Chopra and Suresh Bhagwat.
