Shankar is brought up in a poor household by his sick mother who is honest and will not accept any money earned through illegitimate means. She rejects the money from small tiem thief Robert. So Shankar works hard day and night to earn money to pay for his mother’s medicines. Sadly one day his money is stolen and his mother dies from lack of medicines. Shankar, now an orphan is forced to join Robert and his gang. He starts living with him and his daughter Rosy. Soon Shankar and Rosy grow up where she falls in love with him but he falls for a wealthy girl named Sharmila.

 

Shakar happens to meet Sharmila’s uncle and his son Jimmy who are planning to get the latter married to her, so they can usurp her wealth. When they come to know she is in love with the lowly Shankar, they try to frame him for a robbery. She is then furious at Shankar and doesn’t want to see him again. But he makes sure he clears his name.

 

The film is directed by Swaroop Kumar and produced by Monika Paddhai. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast inludes Govinda, Farha, Sonika Gill, Om Prakash, Raza Murad, Dina Pathak, Bhagwan, Bobby, Shiva, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor, Manek Irani, Jugnu, Renu Joshi and Gurbachan.
