Anu, played by Urmila Matondkar is in love with Siddharth, played by Fardeen Khan. Just when both were thinking of informing each other’s families about their marriage plans, Anu’s parents decide to go on a jungle safari. Siddharth joins in and explores the wild. While the large group is observing wild life at a close encounter, they get trapped by a bandit called Durga and his gang and get kidnapped. The bandits terrorize the group and even brutally behead one of the women in the group to send a strong message to the government. Once their demands are met, they start releasing all the hostages escept Anu, who Durga starts to be besotted by.


Soon Siddhart begins to notice that Anu is missing and goes in search of her. Somehow they escape and get lost in the forest trying to find their way out. Soon the police close in on the bandits and shoot them one by one until only Durga is left on the run. He is still in search of Anu and wants her. However just when he is about to attack her, the cops nab and arrest him, thus Siddharth and Anu unite.


The movie is directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma.The film is written by Jaideep Sahni. The music is composed by Sandeep Chowta and the cinematography is by Vijay Arora.
