The 2019 Telugu-language sports drama film Kousalya Krishnamurthy was written and directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao. It was produced by K. A. Vallabha under the Creative Commercials brand. With music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, the movie features Aishwarya Rajesh, Rajendra Prasad, Karthik Raju, and Sivakarthikeyan in a supporting part. Aishwarya Rajesh makes her Telugu cinema debut in this version of the 2018 Tamil flick Kanaa. The movie recycled Sivakarthikeyan-related sequences from the first movie. The movie opened in theatres on August 23, 2019.
