Tagore is a ruthless man who drinks heavily and then tortures his family. He doesn’t care about their concerns or well-being. One night after a drunkard stupor, Tagore beats up his daughter severely and she dies. His son Ramu is agitated seeing this and attacks his father but his mother stops him and slaps him. Ramu is hurt by this and leaves home. He then lives in a orphanage and studies on charity. Soon he reaches medical
college and meets Kalpana and falls in love with her. She too loves him but never confesses. Eventually Kalpana is married off but her marriage doesn’t last. Ramu meets Padma and falls in love with her. Kalpana divorces her husband to come back to Ramu but realizes that he loves
Padma and thus sacrifices her love. The film is directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and produced by Jain and Pradeep Sharma. The music is composed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Asrani, Ashok Kumar, Aruna Irani, Rekha, Anita Raaj, Asrani, Ashok Kumar and Aruna Irani.
