Dutta Babu stands for elections against a notorious gangster named Bishamber who has the politicians and influential people in his pocket. He is capable of doing anything to win the seat. He even plans and kills Dutta. Inspector Ranjit Singh who is on the case finds incriminating evidence against Bishamber and wants to bring him to justice. However, before that can be done, Bishamber gets Ranjit brutally killed. Ranjit’s mourning wife now swears revenge on her husband’s murder and joins the police force to take matters into her own hands.
The film is directed and produced by K C Bokadia. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the lyrics are written by Anjaan. The star cast includes Rajnikanth, Rekha, Prem Chopra,Dalip Tahil,Shafi Inamdar,Alok Nath,Charan Raj, Bindu and Beena Banerjee.
