While working on a dam in a village, a contractor named Gupta meets a local village belle Champa and falls in love with her. HE gets intimate with her and soon she is pregnant. Then he goes back to doing his normal work. When Champa tries to get him to accept her and her child he refuses and she is ousted from the place. She eventually gives birth to a boy named Jai and brings him up with love. Meanwhile the contractors use sub- standard material for the dam and it bursts killing hundreds of people. The contactors, to save their name built a trust for the poor villagers. This saves them from an inquiry on the faulty dam burst. Champa later dies and Jai grows up to start his own newspaper called ‘Yeh Sach Hai’. He then exposes the dam burst years ago in the village and does not know that his own father was also involved in its construction. His girlfriend Poonam’s father too was a part of the corrupt project. He starts getting threats to his life and anonymous phone calls, making his life a living hell. The film is directed and produced by Atma Ram . The music is composed by Aziz Nazan. The star cast includes Kanwaljeet, Padmini Kapila, Suresh Chatwal and Neelam
