Sharara (1984)

A spy from a neighboring country is asked to infiltrate into the Indian Army to secure an important classified document. Colonel Veer Singh Pratap is an intelligent and honest man, he soon suspects something a miss and gets hold of the infiltrator and liquidates him. Not ready to give up so soon, Vicky and a gypsy girl named Chandni are now sent to get the document. Chandi incidentally looks very much like Veer Pratap’s wife Madhu and this gives them an upper hand. They then kidnap Madhu and Chandi takes her place. Thus the latter manages to get the document. The colonel however is clever and does not this slip by so easily. The film is directed by S V Rajendra Singh and produced by R J Chakravarti. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Raaj Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini and Tina Munim.
