From 1981, R. Krishnamoorthy "Thee" helmed an action crime movie. It stars Rajinikanth, Suman, Sripriya, and Sowcar Janaki. The movie charts the diverging paths of Raja and Suman, two sons of a labour leader, who after suffered much hardship from childhood to adulthood. One looks to the underworld of crime while the other picks a route of sincerity and justice; this causes a strong and sad conflict between the two brothers.
A union leader is defending underprivileged workers. Raja and Ravi are two sons he shares with his wife Seetha. A dishonest businessman threatens him one day, causing him to halt his work. The labourers rise against him, labelling young Rajas arm with My Father Is A Thief. Seetha takes her boys to Madras and works hard to bring them up; the father flees. Raja grows up enraged and ashamed of his father's past. He climbs the underworld and dabbles in smuggling in a range of occupations. He gives up his studies so Ravi, his younger brother, can study.
Ravi becomes an honest police officer and falls for Radha, the daughter of the police commissioner. Raja, on the other hand, starts to fall for Anita. He resolves to quit criminal activity, wed her, and turn his life around upon her pregnancy. Ravi learns of Rajas criminal history, though, and leaves with their mother. When Anita is killed by foes, tragedy strikes. Raja, in fury, exacts recompense by killing them. Now Raja, a wanted criminal, is chased by Ravi. Ravi is finally compelled to murder Raja. Asking for forgiveness, Raja passes away in his mother's arms. Ravi is recognised for his devotion.
"Thee" examines ideas of morality, conflict, family, and sacrifice. Supported by great performances and a deft narrative, the movie offers an amazing emotional trip. It emphasises how events influence life and the results of choices taken under stress through action, drama, and sentiment. Its emotional complexity, unforgettable events, and a theatrical examination of friendship and justice set it apart.
