Presented by #Ameykhopkar, #SandeepDeshpande and #AmolKagneFilms, National Award Winning Director Shivaji Lotan Patil's Bhonga to release on 3rd May across India.”

Speaking about the film director Shivaji had said, “My film is not against Muslim or Hindu religion. It revolves around the story of a nine-month-old boy who suffers from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. 'Bhonga' is inspired by a true story. This is the story of my friend, who stays in Malegoan. He was suffering from the same medical issues when he was born. There were more than 20 mosques near his house and how the sound of azaan from a neighbouring mosque trouble him. And how people helped him to come out of this.”

Patil further added, “I thought that we should make a film about this incident. I am not against azaan or Bajans. It's a very interesting story and people will understand only if they watch this film.”
