Confirming that Drishyam 3 has gone on floors, actress Ishita Dutta best known for the films like De De Pyaar De 2, Blank and Firangi has now officially ignited excitement on the social media giving a sneak peek of the Drishyam 3 sets.  On her social media handle, Ishita Dutta has posted pictures that are intriguing, one features a film clipboard which clearly marks Drishyam 3 and the other is her standing in front of the vanity van which has her character name Anju which she captioned as, ‘ Do I need to say more ?#Drishyam3 which the fans instantly got the hints and have been super excited since then. 


Ishita has played key roles in the previous instalments will once again be seen reprising her character in the third chapter as well. The makers have reportedly begun the shooting of Drishyam 3 in Goa since last month and this will mark the return of the much-loved crime thriller franchise. 


About Drishyam 3, the Cast and what to expect from the third instalment.


Drishyam 3 is directed by Abhishek Pathak. The script is written by Pathak along with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. The film is a powerhouse with an ensemble of multi star cast such as Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and Tabu with Ishita Dutta joining in for the third instalment. Jaideep Ahlawat is best known for his acclaimed performances in Paatal Lok, Gangs of Wasseypur and Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins. 


As Drishyam franchise had delved with a gripping story of a middle class family who gets entangled in a dark crime following the disappearance of a police officer’s son,  The heart of the narrative was Vijay Salgaonkar who takes extreme steps to protect his family from the law while Drishyam 2 after seven years after the release of the first film unfolds revealing the past that has refused to stay buried and surfaces while the Drishyam 3 , the third instalment is expected to raise the stakes even higher and making it more exciting crime thriller film of the year. 


It is also a remake of the much-acclaimed Malayalam crime thriller series which was led by Mohanlal who essays the character of George Kutty, in the Hindi version it has carved its own legacy for each chapter. 


Drishyam 3 is scheduled for its theatrical release on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd, 2026
