Popular Punjabi actress Gauri Singh who was last seen in the 2008 film Majaajan, has made her comeback with the Punjabi film ‘Asi Desi’. The film is directed by Harish Vyas and produced by Kranti Pratap Singh. The film is now available on the OTT platform MX Player. 

Announcing the release of Asi Desi on her Instagram page Gauri wrote, “To those who were asking why don't I do punjabi movies anymore . Here you go .. my latest PUNJABI MOVIE "ASI DESI" is now streaming on MX player. Please do watch and enjoy.” The film also stars Sunil Maan and Gauri Singh along with Sushil Parashar, Nitin Sharma, Sunil Maan, Gauri Singh, Daljeet Sachdeva, Neeta Mohindra, Pooja Gupta, Vicky Batra, Inderpal Singh, Amrit Nandra, Kamaljeet Singh, Tarun Dutta among others. Gauri has been part of films as well as TV shows like Crime Patrol, Fear Files, Hamari Devrani, Meera among many others.
