Apart from wining the 56th Maharashtra State Film Awards, talented Marathi actor Swanand Kirkire has also won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 66th National Film Awards for the film Chumbak. He will now grace the big screens with a special appearance in the most anticipated film of the year ‘Girlz’. The actor will be playing the role of a police officer in the comedy film, where he will be tickling our funny bone.

 

Girlz stars Ketaki Narayan, Ankita Lande and Anvita Phaltankar in leading roles. The story of the movie revolves around three girls who want to break the shackles of the conservative society and face a lot of flak from their family for it. Parth Bhalerao from Boyz and Boyz 2 will also feature in the movie. The film is directed by Vishal Sakharam Devrukhkar and produced by Naren Kumar and Sujatha N Kumar, under the production banners ‘Everest Entertainment’ & ‘Kyra Kumar Kreations’. The film will hit the big screens on 29th November 2019.
