Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar impressed his fans in his last releases which included Sooryavanshi, Bell Bottom and Atrangi Re. There’s no stopping Bollywood’s original Khiladi as he has yet another multiple releases coming up while shooting for his other films. He will be seen essaying the role of Major General Ian Cardozo in Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan’s upcoming film Gorkha. 

 

Announcing the film Akshay had previously said, “Sometimes you come across stories so inspiring that you just want to make them. #Gorkha - on the life of legendary war hero, Major General Ian Cardozo is one such film. Honoured to essay the role of an icon and present this special film.” For the unversed, Cardozo is a former Indian Army officer and was in charge of a battalion and a brigade, and he was disabled. Akshay will begin shooting for Gorkha in the second half of 2022. He will most likely begin after wrapping up Karan Johar’s film Selfiee also starring Emraan Hashmi. Gorkha is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. The Actor will also be seen in Rai’s Raksha Bandhan soon.
