Marking the second collaboration between Tips Films and Baweja Studios, the film is a fresh comedy with Ishaan Khatter stepping into the lead role in the film Jugaadu. It also introduces the popular actor Tania to Hindi cinema bringing refreshing faces and new screen pairing.

The traditional mahurat ceremony for the launch of the project, ‘ Jugaadu’ was held in Mumbai on April 30th 2026. Setting the stage for the production following the team gearing up for its first shooting schedule in Punjabi later this month.   The film promises a vibrant backdrop and a deep-rooted storytelling flavour. 


Directed by Palash Vaswani, who is known for his acclaimed work like the series, Gullak, Jugaadu will mark his film debut. The film is positioned as a light hearted humour with relatable situational storytelling.  


Alongside Ishaan Khatter is Tania opposite him and includes Abhishek Banerjee, Jameel Khan, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Yamini Das, Sukhwinder Chahal and Nirmal Rishi all of them set to add to the comic flair of the new narrative. 


Jugaadu is produced by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani and Pammi Baweja and Harman Baweja. In a partnership between the two production houses the storyline remains under wraps while Jugaadu is being shaped up as a mainstream cinema and is aimed to deliver wholesome entertainment for the theatrical release for the audience.
