Marathi filmmaker Kedar Shinde who has given us entertaining films like 'Majha Navra Tujhi Bayko', 'Irada Pakka', 'Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad', among others, is all set to give us a film of a lifetime. He has announced that he will be making a biopic on his grandfather, legendary actor and playwriter Shahir Sable. On the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary, Kedar shared a video of his legendary grandfather and announced the title of his upcoming biopic 'Maharashtra Shahir'.

 

Sharing the video on his social media page Kedar wrote, “आज ३ सप्टेंबर.. महाराष्ट्र शाहीर साबळे यांचा जन्मदिन... त्यांना मानाचा मुज महाराष्ट्र शाहीर...” Playwright, actor, singer and write Shahir Sable was the one who gave our state its unofficial anthem 'Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza'. The film will hit the big screens in 2023.
