Fitness icon Milind Soman flagging off the Fit India Run 2025 in Mumbai today, launching an all-India campaign encouraging fitness and healthy living. Held as part of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports’ Fit India Movement, the event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 30,000 runners.

Starting from Marine Drive, the marathon was segmented into 5K, 10K, and half-marathon divisions. They are joined by school children, working professionals and senior citizens. Above all other people of different age groups and professions, fitness influencers had a common purpose to participate and remain fit and active.

Milind Soman, further energizing the crowd, exclaimed, “Fitness should be the way of life. The Fit India Run encourages everyone to take that first step toward a healthier life.

In addition to the fun run, the event featured yoga classes, free health screenings, and booths with nutrition information. Volunteers and local officials all worked to make sure everyone had a fun, safe experience.
