After the mega successful Scam 1992 The Harshad Mehta story, Gujarati actor Pratik Gandhi is all set to take on another challenging role. This time it will be in his native language and the web series will stream on OHO Gujarati. The series titled ‘Vitthal Teedi’ will be the streaming platforms first project. Set in the early 1980’s, the story of the series will revolve around a small-time gambler who slowly rises to fame, while discovering the various highs and lows of his life in the game of cards. Pratik has shared his motion poster from the series on his social media and it is quite different from all the roles he’s previously played. It alsohas some clever dialogues from the actor and a haunting background score.

The trailer of Vitthal Teedi will be out of 1st May 2021. It is directed by Abhishek Jain who has given us films like Kevi Rite Jaish, and Bey Yaar, among others. The director also has a Hindi movie starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon in the pipeline.
