Telugu star Ram Charan whose previous movie "RRR" got recognition on the honorable platform of the Oscars has accomplished yet another milestone in his career. Ram Charan has become the newest member of the Academy's Actors Brand. 

Academy's Instagram Announcement: 

Today, the Academy has announced via their Instagram account. The RRR star Ram Charan is joining as a new member of the Actors Branch Of the Academy. He will be accompanying other new members from all around the world such as  Lashana Lynch, Louis Koo Tin-Lok and others. A few weeks before this amazing announcement Ram's RRR costar JR NTR also joined the Academy's Branch of Actors. 

Academy while making this announcement on Instagram posted a short clip of Ram and other actors along with a caption that said, "Through their nuanced portrayal and dedication to authenticity, these actors gift us with characters that leave a lasting impression on our hearts and minds. Their mastery of their art form transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary cinematic experiences, enriching our appreciation for the depth and complexity of human emotions. We’re thrilled to welcome these accomplished performers to the Actors Branch of the Academy: Lashana Lynch, Ram Charan, Vicky Krieps, Louis Koo Tin-Lok, Keke Palmer, Chang Chen, Sakura Ando and Robert Davi.”

Similarly, on October 8, the Academy shared another list of new members of the Actors Branch, which included Jr NTR's name. 

"RRR" Song "Naatu Naatu" Oscar Win:

Ram Charan and Jr NTR's Telugu movie RRR's song "Naatu Naatu" has made history by becoming the first Indian film song to win an Oscar for Best Original Song.
