Two songs sequences to take the centre stage in Love and War.
The second song is scheduled to be short from February 9th 2026 in this ambitious project. Choreographer Shiamak Davar is roped in to take charge this time to bring a bold and a theatrical approach which Bhansali wants to experiment as he has never before in his earlier films. With striking movements, the song and dance sequence are expected to bring out the film’s war time love triangle which will echo loud the emotions with the impact of the iconic songs from Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali faces production challenges and revised the release plan
While the film remains uncompromised, production has fallen nearly 40 days behind its schedule but Bhansali has now requested the star cast to block their calendars until summer of 2026 to complete the shoot on time. Although the reports did earlier say the film is scheduled for its release in Marc, the makers have now shifted the release to August September, which gives them ample time for the VFX and also avoid the box office clash with the film Toxic by Yash.
