Shoojit Sircar's Take On 'Films' Struggle'
In a formal conversation with
ANI, Shoojit Sircar shared his thoughts on what might be wrong with the films, and while speaking about it, He said, 'There are two important reasons for that. First of all, I will say that producers as well as filmmakers, as creative people, aren't taking many risks. In terms of storytelling, you cannot just repeat old stories. You have to take some risks and need to bring some new and insightful subjects, and in this scenario, the genre doesn't matter.'
Shoojit Gives A Example Of 'Rising Sun Films'
While elaborating upon the flaws of various films, Shoojit gave an example of his own production house, Rising Sun Films. He said, 'But that hasn't been the case with us. For all of the films that we've made, we've always made sure that the expenses do not go too high. This is the reason we do not run into some major problems. Also, we've worked with various actors who were truly assured that they are working on a Rising Sun Film with Shoojit Sircar and also on the fact that the cost may not get very high. However, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has remained the only major box office hit this year.
