Popular actor Ghanshyam Nayak known for his brilliant and crucial role as Nattu Kaka in the immensely successful TV comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah breathed his last on Sunday. The actor lost his long and grueling battle with throat cancer. Producer Asit Kumarr Modi shared the heartbreaking news on Twitter writing, “Om Shanti” with Nayak’s picture. The talented actor had featured in more than 350 Television shows, 100+ Hindi and Gujarati movies. 


 The brilliant Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actor, had a successful surgery last September to remove a lump in his throat but had developed spots earlier this year. He was being treated with chemotherapy and doing well his son Vikas had said. Reminiscing memories of the 77 year old Nayak, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah director Malav Suresh Rajda wrote on her social media page, “Ghanshyam bhai know you since i was a child wen u use to do plays with my dad…loved you then and loved you now..and you will always be loved by everyone who knew you…still have to come across such a jovial, lovable and a selfless man like you…thank you for always showering ur love and blessings on me…you will be really missed a lot…love you natu kaka..” We pray the family receives immense strength to get over this painful loss.
