As the industry has frequently witnessed a certain amount of disastrous films, the veteran filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has come forward with some suggestions for the industry in order to assist them with the right approach for filmmaking in the modern times.

Vikram Bhatt's Perspective About Films In Recent Times

In a formal conversation with Screen, Vikram Bhatt highlighted the fact that the industry must cater to the mass audiences. He said, 'Everyone has forgot the mass audiences and is blindly running behind creating films of a particular niche. During COVID, the audience's habit of viewing films in the theatre somehow vanished and further the filmmakers stopped making the films that cater to the mass audiences. For instance, if you have a look at the South industry, it is prospering because it has always kept the mass audience as its top priority.'

Filmmakers Must Focus On The 'Urgency' Element

' We have to create films that consist of a certain urgency. I have came to know about it when my own film, 'Tumko Meri Kasam,' didn't work well, but it still it got some great reviews. Films should ve created in a way that audiences must watch the film eagerly on the very first day of its release. Vikram Bhatt added.

Vikram Bhatt's WorkFront Update

The filmmaker will be directing his upcoming horror-thriller film, 'Haunted 3D Ghosts Of The Past,' starring Mahaakshay Chakraborty and Chetna Pandey in the lead roles. It will be co-produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Anand Pandit. This film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 26th September, 2025.
