Marathi filmmaker Vivek Wagh couldn’t be happier to get his hard work recognised and also be awarded for at the 67th National film Awards. The director spoke about his documentary (Non-feature) ‘Jakkal’ bagging a National Film Award for the Best Investigative film. He thanked the jury and said he was grateful for choosing their film. The film is based on the ‘Joshi-Abhyankar serial murders' which took place in Pune between January 1976 and March 1977. The film’s team has done in-depth research and interviewed several important people for the same.


Jakkal is produced by Pratik Joshi and won the director Vivek Wagh his first National Award for direction.
