Raj Kummar Rao's Newton to make its World Premier at Berlin International Film Festival

The makers of the Drishyam films await for the world premier of their new film


 ‘ Newton’  at the Berlin International film Festival which will mark the beginning of the New Year on a high note between the 9th and 19th February 2017.


The film will go on a red carpet premier with its cast and crew on the 10th February 2017 at the opening weekend of the top-tier at the prestigious International film festival.


The film,’ Newton’ starring Rajkummar Rao in the title role is about black comedy in politics that takes place on the election day in Central India.  Rajkummar Rao became popular and famous for his roles in the films like Aligarh and Queen .


His role as Newton is on a rookie clerk on election duty in a conflict ridden Chattisgarh a town in MP whereby he tries to conduct a fair voting despite the indifference of security forces leading to the fear of attack by Maoist rebels.
