It's just been a few days that Karisma Kapoor's boyfriend Sandeep Toshniwal was granted divorce by the court, and gossip mills have been churning out story after story on the possibility of a second marriage for the actor.
Karisma, who has usually been careful about her public appearances with Sandeep, was recently photographed leaving a restaurant with him after a dinner date.
With their relationship now almost in the open, and given that Karisma and Sandeep are both divorced from their respective spouses, rumours have been flying thick about the next step. Is a marriage on the cards for Karisma and Sandeep?
Karisma's father Randhir Kapoor was recently asked whether there's any truth to the rumours.
He told Hindustan Times, "If she (Karisma) wants to get married, then she has my blessings. She is young and must be seeing him (Sandeep); I don't know. I also see their photographs."
Earlier, Randhir had dodged questions on Karisma and Sandeep's relationship status. He was d as saying, "I think Lolo (Karisma) is very well settled and happy. I have never discussed the issue of marriage with her but if she does plan to, she will always have my blessings. But I don't think she wants to get married. She is a happy mother and if she wants, she can get married any time but there is no step in that direction right now. She is happy the way she is. Lolo is an excellent mother who dotes on her children and probably doesn't feel the need to get married."
Karisma tied the knot with industrialist Sunjay Kapur in 2003, after her engagement with Abhishek Bachchan was called off. The Raja Hindustani actor has two children with Sunjay, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.
The couple's divorce came through last year after a bitter battle involving dowry harassment allegations, name-calling and what not.
