Under CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi the first film X Zone is banned due to the graphic love making scenes and nudity.

After Prasoon Joshi took over as the chairperson, the Central Board of Film Certification on Thursday for the very first time , he banned the film titled, ' X Zone' produced and directed by Faisal Kapadi. According to the reports the film 'X Zone' had graphics of sex and love making scenes with extreme nudity that included front shot scenes of nudity of actress Hrishitaa Bhatt who shot to fame as the warrior in Santosh Sivan's Asoka opposite Shah Rukh Khan.Times have changed now, but the censorship guidelines have remained the same. The film was banned abruptly by the CBFC Chief stating that regardless of content there is myth that if you get an 'A' Certificate you can get away with any kind of films which doesn't hold true.

The CBFC Chief had recently also denied certification to another Punjabi film, Toofan Singh on the grounds of too much of voilence and 'X Zone' is the second film to have been denied the certification. This has once again proved that though Prasoon Joshi being on the CBFC board did bring relief to some of the filmmakers in the film industry, the original principles and guidelines drafted by the CBFC will continue to be the same and stay in order . In the name of ' A' certificate certain rules cannot be changed and the film will not be passed under the garb expressed a representative of CBFC.
