Naib After the 2019 Pulwama assault, Subedar Sombir Singh and DySP Aman Thakur collaborated on operations in Kashmir. Ten days later, plans were made for a larger-scale attack than Pulwama, which would target the Defense Minister and the Chief of the Army. Their lives were in danger when fierce coordinated operations in the valley upset the plot of foreign terrorists who held hostages. Numerous lives were saved when Subedar Sombir Singh and DySP Aman Thakur eliminated the foreign terrorists, who were classified as Category "A++." Regretfully, the two perished in the process.
