Biography
In 2022 Anushka appeared in the Amazon Prime Video Series, Crash Course portraying Vidhi Gupta. The same year she played a lead role in the Disney+Hotstar family Drama Ghar Waapsi, which earned her nomination for Best Actress at the Filmfare OTT Awards.
She began her career with short videos and starred also in Garmi, a political thriller on Sony Liv in 2023 which was directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. In 2024, she played a parallel lead alongside Raveena Tandon in a courtroom drama in the film Patna Shuklla, where she had a parallel role to the lead actress. A role which the actress had a Bhojpuri accent. In the same year she also appeared in a youth-oriented web series called Namacool alongside Hina Khan and Abhishek Bajaj.
Her other films are Ujda Chaman in 2019 in a supporting role, Thar in 2022 again in a supporting role. She acted in a few web series such as Who’s Your Daddy in 2020, Maharani Season 2 as Shilpa Aggarwal in the supporting role besides Ghar Waapsi, Crash Course, Lust Stories 2, Jamnapaar in 2025 which was one of her most recent.
Anushka was nominated for Best Actress Drama Series at the Filmfare OTT Awards in 2022 for her performance in Ghar Waapsi.
Career & Achievements
Anushka Kaushik completed her schooling at Sophia’s Girls Senior Secondary School in Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. She pursued her higher education from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Delhi University where in she also explored her acting talent during her college years.
