Biography
Kangna Sharma began her career from the year 2012 with modelling assignments, which included print media and advertisements for various brands. She had an ambition to join the Indian Army inspired by her father’s military background, and had participated in the National Cadet Corps during college. However, she had shifted her focus to the entertainment industry.
She started her film career in Bollywood in 2016 with her first film, Great Grand, in which she got recognition as Choti. Kangna has acted in many of the web series like ‘Mona Home Delivery’ released in 2019, Bitch will be back in the same year, and Saya-E-Ishaq in 2024. She also appeared in some music videos like Tere Jism 2 which was sung by Altaf Sayyad in 2022. Ya Habibi was sung by Ash King & Jyotica Tangri in 2024. Aate Rehte Hai was sung by B.B. Praak in 2024, in which she acted.
Kangna has subsequently appeared in the film Ram Ratan in 2017 and was used in 2019. She did a few Punjabi films too, like Dulla Bhatti in 2016. Kangna had gained recognition on television with her role as Meera Mittal in the Star Plus serial called ‘Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji ‘ in 2017.
Kangna had also established herself in the digital media, featuring in the popular music videos by Hardy Sandhu’s Yaar Ni Milya, wherein she contributed her presence and influenced the contemporary Indian pop culture.
Despite that she has personal challenges, she has continued her work actively in television, films and on digital platforms, thus expanding her career prospects and gradually evolving in the entertainment landscape.
Kangna Sharma had also appeared in Parde Me Rehne Do in 2017, a music video, Savan, and Santa Claus in the same year, Class in 2022, Ya Habibi in 2024 and Aate Rehte Hain in 2024. Her more recent appearance was in Aahuti in 2024.
