Mahima Makwana

Mahima started working in television with the film Miley Jab Hum Tum and Balika Vadhu , both in which she worked as a child artist. Makwana received recognition for her role as Rachan in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke . She continued to appear in several television shows . In 2021, Mahima had made her debut in Hindi film with the action thriller film Antim.

Mahima Makwana started her audition for acting from the age of 10 after which she had appeared in television advertisements. Her television debut was in the serial Mohe Rang De featuring on Colors television. She also appeared in CID, Aahat, Miley Jab Hum Tum and Jhansi Ki Rani as a child artist. In 2008 Mahima essayed the role of young Gudiya Gauri Balika Vadhu.

In 2011, Mahima was cast in a parallel lead role in Imagine TV’s Sawaare Sabke Sapne. Her first major lead was in the blockbuster soap opera on Zee TV, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. Mahima has participated in over 500 auditions prior to her first break on the Television.

In 2015, Mahima appeared in Youth Show Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya episode as Mandira opposite to Nikhil Chaddha. 

In August 2017, she essayed the lead role of Anami Baldev Singh in the serial Rishton ka Chakravyuh on Star Plus.

In 2018, Makwana was seen as the lead role as Mariam in the Mariam Khan – Reporting Live in Star Plus Show. Post leap replacing Deshna Dugad. From December 2019 to November 2020, Mahima Makwana appeared as a protagonist Rani Dave Reshammiya in Shubhrambh on Colors TV.

In 2017 Mahima Makwana also made her debut in Telugu film Venkatapuram and in 2019, she appeared in a short film called Take 2, which was officially selected and premiered at the 10^th Jagran Film Festival at the 10^th Zumba Film Festival, and Asian Film Festival in Los Angeles, in Hollywood, Take 2 won the Best Foreign Film.

At the Real Time Film Festival, Nigeria, in the year 2020, and awarded for the Best Festival themed film, Mahima Makwana made her digital debut with Rangbaaz Season 2 in the role of Chiku. In the same year Mahima appeared in a web show called the Flesh in which she played the character of Zoya. 

In 2021, Mahima was once again seen in Tollywood-Hollywood film called Mosagallu which starred Vishnu Manchu, Suniel Shetty and Kajal Agarwal.

Mahima Makwana’s journey to stardom with television show to doing films has been very trendy and she has done a brilliant work to enhance her career opportunities by sheer hard work, dedication and her performance. She is effortless in the characters she has essayed in all her films and serials or shows. Living upto the standard , she has never compromised on her talent that is showcased well in every scene. 

In 2024, Mahima played the Mahika Nandy in the Dharma Productions series, Showtime which also had veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan
