Biography

Mohan Kapur started his career as a television host and giving his voice over and worked predominantly in television and Hindi films. Mohan Kapur is best known for his role in the film Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ms Marvel in 2022 and then again in 2023, Marvels, Daredevil: Born Again in 2025. Mohan has hosted the game show Saanp Seedi on Zee TV for which he gained recognition as the host and the show was the first Indian program to be produced for a satellite network ZEE TV and aired between 1992 to 1994. The show had featured celebrity guests and was streaming across Asia Pacific, including Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. 

Kapur later hosted shows like Surf Wheel of Fortune between 1995 and 1997, and in Philips Top 10 in 1995. He appeared in supporting roles in series such as Hip Hip Hurray from 1996 to 1999. Hostages from to 2020. For both of these series, he earned a lot of praise. He also essayed the role of Subramanian in Karmma Calling in 2024, for which he was much appreciated. 

Mohan Kapur made his film debut in Begabu in 1996 as the lead antagonist. Since then, he has appeared in over 60 films portraying supporting roles or complex characters. Mostly antagonist in films like Sadak 2 in 2020, Jolly LLB in 2013, Happy New Year in 2014, Mission Mangal in 2019, The Vaccine War in 2023. Then he got his international breakthrough that came with his role as Yusuf Khan in Ms Marvel by the MCU in 2022, followed by The Marvels in 2023 and his upcoming project is Daredevil Born Again in 2025.

Mohan Kapur is also known as a prolific voice artist who has dubbed for Hollywood actors such as Dwayne Johnson, Tom Hardy, Nicolas Cage and Jackie Chan for their Hindi versions of films like Fast & Furious. He has also lent his voice for The Dark Knight Rises in 2012, The Karate Kid in 2010. He is being recognised for his voice for Doctor Strange in the Hindi dubs which include Doctor Strange in 2016 and Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
