Biography
Naman Shaw has been a television star and a producer best known for his roles in the popular television series, or soaps like Kasamh se, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kasauti Zindagii Kay. He is starring currently as Adit Saxena in the Colors TV in the show Mangal Lakshmi which has completed 700 episodes.
He gained success and recognition after finishing in the top 15 of the talent hunt show in India’s Best Cine Star Ki Khoj in 2004. There after he is also known for his notable roles as Pushkar Shukla in Kasamh Se, as Nakul Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 1 and as Nihaal Garewal in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Besides acting, Naman Shaw has ventured into production and served as a production manager for few projects like Taish released in 2020, Kaala in 2023 and through his production house, Caught On Camera Pictures. After six years hiatus from entertainment industry, Naman Shaw explored production and other interests and made his return to the screen in 2024 in the series, Mangal Lakshmi.
A well-known Indian television actor and producer, in his 20-year career, Naman Shaw rose to fame with other notable work and his iconic shows such as Tashan-e-Ishq, Kairi- Rishta Khatta Meetha and Piya Rangrezz. While he was in the acting hiatus, Naman explored the production side of the industry and served as the head of production for the projects like Taish in 2020 and Kaala.
He is also the co-founder of his own production house along with his wife Nehaa Mishra Shaw. While he is known for his acting and as an actor, he has been working behind the scenes as a production manager and a producer to build professional stability in his career. He therefore serves as the Head of Production or Executive Producer for the company’s projects which has its collaboration with director Bejoy Nambiar.
The production house that he heads has its notable credits that include Taish released in 2020, a revenge drama released as both a film and a web series in ZEE5. In Kaala released in 2023 on OTT series where he served as the head of production. Navarasa in 2021 where he was involved in the production of this Tamil anthology series.
Dange in 2024 a bilingual film released as Por in Tamil wherein he assisted his wife Nehaa who served as the associate producer.
He also produced a film Avyaan in which he is the Executive Producer.
The couple, Nehaa Mishra Shaw and Naman Shaw share their responsibilities and divide between acting and production. Naman stated he took a break from acting to assist his wife with her production career which she had started in 2012.
Currently Naman is busy with the show Mangal Lakshmi while Nehaa is managing the daily operations at their production house.
