Biography
Rajesh Khera was known for his films such as Swabhimaan in 1995, Josh in 2000.
He worked in television as well as films when he began his career in the industry in 1993. He did his debut in the Hindi cinema in the film Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa in 1998 and his debut in television was with Tara between 1993 and 1997.
He has acted in many television shows and he is most remembered for his role as the fashion designer Maddy in Jassi Jassi Koi Nahin. He also played the role of Acharya Devvrat in the series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat on television.
The few other television shows that Rajesh Khera has been a part of are Devi in 2002, Bhaskar Bharti in 2009, Left Right Left in 2006, and Saare Jahan Se Accha in 2025
He has been in the films since 1998. He appeared in Hu Tu Tu in 1999, Taal in 1999 as Brij Mohan, Josh in 2000, Tum Bin in 2001, Shaheed in 2002, Om Jai Jagadish in 2002, Jaal: The Trap in 2003, Samay in the same year, Naach in 2004, Karam in 2005, Tango Charlie in the same year, followed by The Train in 2007, Chain Kulii ki Main Kulii, Victoria No. 203 and Speed in 2007, Kambakkth Ishq in 2009 and Aagey Se Right in the 2008. In 2010, he was seen in Lamhaa and also in the film Mallika 2010. He had continued in supporting roles or antagonist roles in the films such as The Whispers, 42 Km, Yeh Dooriyan and U R My Jaan in 2011, Hate Story 2 in 2014, Ek Kahani Julie Ki in 2016, Satyameva Jayate in 2018, Thackeray films in 2018, Gadar 2 in 2023, and Swatantra Veer Savarkar in 2024 as Mahatma Gandhi.
His last and most recent film is The Bengal Files, that is released in September 2025 in which he portrays the role of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Rajesh Khera has taken one of the most complex and controversial roles as Mohammad Ali Jinnah. His acting is considered chilling brilliance and portrays a powerful role.
