Biography
Actor Govinda is one of the most prolific dancers cum talented actor in Bollywood over 3 decades now. As he continues to entertain the audience, his son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s connections in Bollywood has been beyond his own immediate illustrious family. He is making his debut to carry on the legacy and is all set now to enter the Hindi film industry. Yashvardhan is going to feature in a romantic love story which is to be directed by Sai Rajesh. He is reportedly given a screen test and an audition for the role. The film has not yet got its title. Sai Rajesh who has previously helmed Telugu films is an award-winning director.
Before his plans to debut in films as an actor, he worked as an assistant director for the notable Producer Sajid Nadiadwala for films like Dishoom, Baaghi, Kick 2 and Tadap. Besides training in filmmaking, Yashvardhan also got trained by his actor father Govinda to improve his acting skills on screen.
He was reportedly going to be working alongside Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan in the Telugu film Baby in 2023, but Babil Khan is not a part of the project any more, so the search is on for his replacement to be along with Yashvardhan in the forthcoming unnamed film.
Career & Achievements
Yashvardhan is nicknamed Yash by most of his family and friends. Unlike other star kids who have dived into acting, Yashvardhan chose a path to enter Bollywood after he had completed a year long course in filmmaking and acting from the prestigious Met Film School in London. The course is complete knowledge of various aspects of filmmaking. Once he was back in India, he started working behind the camera and has contributed to the production of several successful films made in Bollywood. Yashvardhan for his handsome chiseled looks is compared to the two most handsome actors of the film industry, Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
