Smriti Sinha

Smrity Sinha mainly started working with Bhojpuri films and in television serials. Her debut on screen was in Rangila Babu in 2008, followed by her television debut in Jaa Maa Vaishno Devi on Bhojpuri television.  Smrity has worked with most of the top stars of the Bhojpuri industry, which include Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, Dinesh Lal Yadav, Khesari Lal Yadav, and Pavan Singh, to name a few.   To date, Smrity has worked in over 50 Bhojpuri films. 

Smrity Sinha was honoured with the Bhojpuri Film Award in 2015, and in 2017, she was honoured with the Shivraj Mudra Chatrapati Award for her long-term contribution to Bhojpuri films. 

Besides her successful career in Bhojpuri cinema, Smriti has also appeared in a few Hindi and Marathi films. She got famous for her roles in the Bhojpuri films like ‘Sajan Chale Sasural’ and ‘Bhag Kesari Bhag. Her debut in Bollywood films was with the ‘Musafiraa’ released in 2024.  She also acted in the Bhojpuri films,  ‘Ghar Jamaai’ in 2022 and ‘Bewafa Sanam’ in 2023 and ‘Bablu Ki Babli’ in 2023. 

She also did a film ‘Pyar Bina Chain Kaha Re’ and got recognition for her roles in Sajan Chale Sasural and since 2013, Smrity has never looked back, going a step forward with every success in Bhojpuri films.  She did many more films like ‘Saugandh Ganga Maiya Ke’, Devra Par Mawa Dole in 2012, Pyar Jhukta Nahi in 2013, Laadli in 2013, Prem Deewani in 2013, Khoon Bhari Maang in 2014, Pratigya also in the same year, Suhag, Doodh Ka Karz, Yeh Mohabbatein and Sajan Chale Sasural, etc. 

Smrity Sinha was in the show, Crime Patrol, which was aired on Sony TV in 2008.   She also worked in television serials such as Waqt Batega Kaun Apna. In Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabi in 2009, Horror Nights in 2010, Naach Nachaiya Dhoom Machaiya in 2011, Rasoi Ki Rani in 2013, Jai Bholenath in 2014 and Suryaputra in 2015.
