Amitabh Bachchan At 80 Refuses To Slow Down! Proves Age Is Only A Number Has Five Film Releases In 2022, The Anchor At KBC And Endorses India’s Top 5 Brands!!

One of the most dedicated actors of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan has been having a constant screen presence in films, brand endorsements and his popular television show Kaun BanegaCrorepati.   He is one of the most popular actors on social media as well. Regardless of his success rate and age the super star is not willing to slow down and take a back seat! While we have Akshay Kumar at 55 who has four films on floor this year and his success rate, it is Amitabh Bachchan at 80 who is much ahead .  The Star has 4 releases already this year and the fifth film Uunchai is on its way for a release.

Amitabh Bachchan’s  has had to his credit, several versatile roles in various genres as we see him once again in Jhund which is a biographical sports drama, Brahmastra is mythological, Goodbye an emotional family film, Runway 34 is a thriller film in which he essays the role of head of AAIB (Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau).  Even with age catching up, the actor stands tall literally with his towering stardom that he fits in roles like an aged cranky father in Piku, or a heartless lawyer in the film Badla or a stingy miser in Gulabo Sitabo.

Brahmastra did great while few of his other films released were under-performed.   Uuchai is once again a promising film by Sooraj Barjatya that revolves around four friends who scale Mount Everest.  He is also a narrator Pooja Hegde and Prabha’s Hindi version Radhey Shyam.  That’s not all, the actor has one more project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone and has no plans of sitting idle. He has recently hosted the fourteenth season of his show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Since 2000 Amitabh Bacchan has been hosting the show and for one of the television shows that Shah Rukh Khan had taken over on quizzing and sharing stories, it has been  Bachchan all the way  continuing the hosting for the most popular television shows we have here in India.

Amitabh Bacchan is also seen endorsing and is the face of many popular brands ranging from RBI, Pens, Gujarat Tourism, or the Navratna Oil, Just Dial, Emami, Kalyan Jewellers. The stalwart is said to have stood on number 6 on the Duff & Phelps Celebrity Brand Valuation and it is reported that the brand value is at 54.2 million $.

The filmography chart of Big B only shows his drive to work hard and it only seems to be increasing with age and his retirement from films like his contemporary actors or juniors seems far fetched as he pushes himself beyond any other actor!!   Wishing Amitabh Bachchan many more successful innings!
