Khoon Pasina The Blockbuster Hit In Amitabh Bachchan's Filmy Journey

Welcome to the new episode on Amitabh Bachchan’s filmy journey. Today we will talk about the film Khoon Pasina directed by Rakesh Kumar, Written by Kader Khan, Rakesh Kumar and K. K.Shukla.

The film is produced by Babboo Mehra. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Rekha, Nirupa Roy and Asrani was released in the year 1977. The music is by Kalyanji Anandji. The film went on to be a super hit and earned high grossing at the box office. The highlight of the film was a comedy/action scene that features Amitabh Bachchan fighting a tiger. 
The film was remade in 1979 in Telugu.

The plot goes as this, about two best friends who get separated and their families are killed by the villain. Both the boys grow up separately and fight crime individually.  One of them Shiva or Tiger (Amitabh Bachchan) is a good guy, social, amicable and lives with his mother.  He falls in love with Rekha and marries her. After their marriage Shiva gets blamed for a murder which he has not committed. On his mother’s and wife’s request he is asked to leave the village and restart a simple nonviolent life in another village.  Shera who is fighting crime and criminals believes that Shiva is the murderer of Asrani.  He eventually tracks him down from his hiding in another village and realizes he is none other than the long lost friend who he had implicit faith. They both together find the real murderer and the film ends here.
