Biography
Zahan having come from a background of theatre and films he has learnt acting naturally and has participated in the podcast with his father Kunal Kapoor. He was involved with the Prithvi Festival since the year 2012. Later he was the theatre assistant director to Sunil Shanbag in a workshop for children.
He hosted performances of the newcomers and in 2019 he made his theatre debut in Makarand Deshpande’s play ‘Pitaji Please’ at Prithvi Theatre. Zahan made his acting debut in the film Faraaz in 2022 directed by Hansal Mehta and since then has starred in thriller series. Zahan did photo shoot with fashion designer Masaba Gupta for Elle Magazine. Zahan after his debut film Faraaz, he returned to the theatre in 2023 for the play, ‘Saichen’ written by Aditya Raal and is directed by Makarand Deshpande which portrays the survival of the Indian soldiers stuck in the Glacier of Siachen. He is all set to appear on the web series ‘Janta Band’ on Amazon. His most recent appearance is in the crime drama thriller ‘Black Warrant’ streaming since January 10 th 2025. A television series on Netflix is based on the 2019 Black Warrant confessions of a Tihar Jailer. Helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Satyanshu Singh, the film costars with Zahan Kapoor are Rahul Bhat, Paramvir Singh Cheema and Anuraag Thakur.
