Cosmo Ed @nandinibhalla chats with the actor about the film's phenomenal success, working with #Sushant, and what lies ahead for the bright, young star. What were your thoughts on the day of the film release? @sanjanasanghi96 : “I spent the day at Bangla Sahib...it’s my place of peace. I was a box of unresolved emotions, which exploded at 7:30pm when I watched our labour of love with100 million others. I barely remember anything, I was sobbing through the entire thing.” @nandinibhalla: I believe Sushant and you shared a love for food... @sanjanasanghi96 : "During one of our readings, my dad called to say that I had received a gold medal at Delhi University! I began shrieking and told Sushant and Mukesh sir. Sushant was ecstatic! To celebrate, we ordered a feast! We just spread out a mat on the floor and ate everything from momos to samosas to rajma chawal!" @nandinibhalla: The last few months have been a roller coaster of success, loss, grief... @sanjanasanghi96 : "The film released a month ago, and it has felt like one of the longest months of my life. Because even though time was flying, there were these complex emotions inside me. I haven't been able to feel proud or joyous or celebratory for a single moment. I wish I could have found a fleeting moment to give myself a pat on the back. That said, I felt a lot of gratitude for how the audience gave this tribute to Sushant; and for how even in a pandemic, the team brought the film to the people in a way Sushant deserved. I hope, in some months, I am able to feel proud about Kizie and how people have loved her." .
