Adiyae

"Adiyae" is a 2023 Tamil science fiction romantic comedy film directed by Vignesh Karthick and produced by Prabha Premkumar. It features G. V. Prakash Kumar, Gouri G. Kishan, Venkat Prabhu, Mirchi Vijay, and Madumkesh. It is about a man who is sent to a different universe where his fantasies have materialized — but temporarily.

The narrative is about "Jeeva" (G. V. Prakash Kumar), a lonely and broken-hearted man who never got over the loss of his parents. He has long secretly been in love with his school-days sweetheart, "Senthaazhini" (Gouri G. Kishan), now a renowned singer. Jeeva resides in sorrow and fails to reveal his true feelings. One day, after a mysterious accident, he finds himself in another world, which is a parallel universe, and he is no longer an obscure struggler but a renowned music director by the name of Arjun and Senthaazhini is his beloved wife.

The story intensifies as Jeeva moves further into this new world, where known people have completely different lives. Here, Sachin Tendulkar is a football star, and "Gautham Vasudev Menon" (Venkat Prabhu) makes science fiction films. With the help of bizarre characters like "Vikram" (Madumkesh), a crazy scientist, and "Giri" (Mirchi Vijay), a young radio jockey, Jeeva begins to understand the way in which the two worlds intersect.Trapped between fantasy and reality, he keeps on jumping between the two worlds, attempting to find a means of bringing his fantasy into reality in the real world.

"Adiyae" is a fresh take on love, loss, and destiny set in the context of parallel universes. G. V. Prakash delivers a soulful performance, and Gouri G. Kishan brings warmth to the character.
