Amar Deep is an Emotional-Romantic Musical-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence by T. Prakash Rao. The Story revolves around the life of Aruna (played by Vyjayanthimala)- A Sweet girl living with her Grandfather after her parent's demise and her marriage was fixed with Pran (played by Pran)- An obsessive lover of her- but she ran away from home- because she hates him. She meets with an orphan man- Ashok (played by Dev Anand)- A Kind-Hearted man and they fell in love with each other. Things get complicated- when Aruna' Grandfather died and she returns to her home and sets to find Ashok along with Pran- but finds him in love with another girl- Roopa (played by Padmini)- A Beautiful dancer and claims her as his wife, leading to consequences.
