Roopa, played by Ayesha Jhulka is married to a ruthless man who abondons her and her family. Roopa not only has to take care of her own needs but also that of her daughter Rani, her sick mother-in-law and her disabled brother-in-law. Her brother-in-law sadly is a womanizer and looks at Roopa with impure vision. She tries very hard to make ends meet by getting a decent employment but all her efforts go futile and she is left to fend for herself. Seeing no other option to provide for her family, Roopa ultimately does the unthinkable. She takes the harsh decision of becoming a prostitute.

 

Roopa wishes her daughter to be away from the cruel and impure life that she is leading and thus leaves Rani with a compassionate and kind family to look after her. Meanwhile she and her broth-in-law move to another city after her mothin-in-law’s death. After many years of struggle and sacrifices, Roopa returns with enough money to get Rani married to a good man and also repay what the kind family did for her. Sadly she later learns that the man she thought was good has been abusing and harassing her daughter. She takes his life and ends up in a mental facility. Years later when she reunites with Rani she is shocked to know the truth about her daughter.

 

The movie is directed by Sunil Batta and produced by Sunil Batta, Anil Goel, Gyan Prakash. The music is composed by Uttam Chatterji and the story is written by Sanjay Rai. The star cast includes Yashpal Sharma, Ayesha Jhulka, Aparna Aakarkar, Surendra Pal and Sanjay Mishra.
