Ankur: The Seedling is an Emotional-Romantic Tragedy Family Drama Film crafted and written with excellence by Shyam Benegal. The Story revolves around the life of Lakshmi (played by Shabana Azmi) - A Hardworking woman along with her Deaf Husband- Kishtayya, who works for the Wealthy Landlord. However, their problem arises- when the Landlord's wife suspects an extramarital affair of his Huband with Lakshmi, and she starts to threaten the life of Lakshmi, leading to consequences.
