Mary loses her parents at a young age and is brought up as an orphan by the kind and compassionate nuns of a local orphanage. Mary is a brilliant student and excels in almost all fields. She is also artistically well inclined. Her education and aspirations, are sponsored by a wealthy man who she has never seen or met. He however unfortunately one day passes away leaving behind his business and legacy. The man’s business is now handled by a self confessed bachelor named Bob, who now takes over the responsibility of Mary and supports her education now.
Mary one day happens to meet Bob, and is quite intrigued by him. Soon she seems to be drawn towards Bob like a magnet and falls in love with him. The film is directed by I V Sasi and produced by Raju Mathew. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Smita Patil, Tanuja, Shafi Inamdar, Satish Shah, Karan Shah, Beena Banerjee and Sabeeha.
