Apartment (2010)

Apartment is a 2010 Bollywood Indie Psychological thriller film written and directed by Jagmohan Mundra with Anupam Kher, Tanusree Dutta and Ronit Roy in the lead. The movie narrated the story of an air hostess whose life begins to take a tipsy turn around after breaking up with her boyfriend and thus rending out their apartment to a stranger and the further series of unforeseen gruesomeness and revelations coming her way. Apartment begins with character Preethi played by Tanusree Dutta moving in to a flat with her boyfriend and her doubtful nature leading to their untimely break up forcing her to throw him out from her flat. The movie takes a major turnaround when she gets a new girl tenant to stay with her which brings about unforeseen, brutal and dark happenings around her. The story reaches a point where she begins to suspect her roommate along with a strange neighbour and even her boyfriend. Apartment was a moderately successful attempt at moulding a gritty psycho thriller within a limited setting and a handful of characters. However the movie was a serious let-down with only average to negative reviews. The movie was panned mostly for its dodgy writing and lazy progression.
