Jai Sharma, played by Akshay Kumar, is an honest and hardworking police officer. He wants to get enough hard evidence against criminal Mr. Singhal, who is a mafia don but tries to hide this fact. Unfortunately Jai falls in love with Shingal’s only daughter Neha, played by Raveena Tandon. She love Jai and will do anything for him. This infuriated Singhal as he wants Neha to marry police commissioner’s only son. She however refuses to budge. Singhal meanwhile plots of eliminate Jai Sharma by all means and will use any and every resource possible. He also questions the character and past of Jai’s mother to take revenge.
The movie is directed and produced by Pramod Chakravorty. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the lyrics are written by Sameer. The screenplay is written by Rajeev Kaul. The star cast includes Amrish Puri, Mohnish Bahl, Gulshan Grover, Johnny Lever, Rana Jung Bahadur, Brij Gopal, Arjun,Shiva, Suresh Chatwal, Deepak Parashar and Ayesha Julka.
