Roy Kapoor, played by Abhishek Bachchan is a seasoned con artist. He has conned many people including his girlfriend Simi, played by Priyanka Chopra. He makes her believe that he is an honest and simple guy. On the day of their engagement however, Simi is told of the truth and is disgusted at all the lies Roy has been telling her. She calls off the engagement and leaves him. A devastated Roy, who truly loved Simi is in for another shock when he is diagnosed with a tumor and does not have more than 3 months to live.
Roy meets Dittu, played by Ritesh Deshmukh, who comes to him or help. His father had been duped of his life savings by a gangster named Chandru, played by Nana Patekar.
Roy wants to reform himself now that he knows he is going to die very soon, but he decides to do one last good deed and help Dittu. However the effects of the tumor have now started to show on Roy and he feels unwell.Roy now has to have a race against time and help Dittu get his money back from Chandru and trick death itself. The movie is directed by Rohan Sippy and produced by Ramesh Sippy. The film is written by Shridhar Raghavan and Rajat Arora. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar, Trickbaby and Sameeruddin. The cinematography is by Himman Dhamija.
